EL SEÑOR DE LOS ANILLOS

While most people will recall seeing the Toy Biz LOTR toys in the English language packaging, some regions around the world would see special and unique packaging that was exclusive to that region.

 

Famosa would distribute the Toy Biz LOTR toys to Spain in the native tongue under the movie titled “EL SEÑOR DE LOS ANILLOS” which translates THE LORD OF THE RINGS.

 

What is particularly interesting about this version of the Electronic Sound and Action Cave Troll is that the rest of the world would only see them released originally in the FOTR Green box, and later in the FOTR Red box.

 

The Spanish market would be the only country to have this Electronic Sound and Action Cave Troll released in a Blue box which was the colour assigned to the packaging for the Return of the King toy line. Furthermore, the box is a complete redesign to the previous versions offered in the American and rest of the world.

 

Being exclusive to a foreign market, in this case the Spanish market. Finding one is uncommon and will no doubt require the assistance of fellow collectors in Spain to assist in tracking these down.
